Nibha Sikander earned her Bachelors and Masters in Visual Arts from the Maharaja Sayajirao University, Vadodara (2006, 2008), where she was awarded the Nasreen Mohamedi Scholarship (2004-2005).

Sikander’s first solo exhibition titled Wandering Violin Mantis was presented at TARQ, Mumbai, in 2019. She has recently participated in Art Mumbai, Mumbai (2023); Art Basel Hong Kong, Discoveries section (2023); and India Art Fair, Delhi (2024, 2020) represented by TARQ, Mumbai.

Sikander’s works are a part of the collection of the Durjoy Bangladesh Foundation; Ark Foundation for the Arts, Vadodara; and the Kiran Nadar Museum of Art, New Delhi.

Sikander currently works and lives in Murud-Janjira and Mumbai.
